Growing Flowers

These girls are fabulous.
Their mom called me for D A D photos for father's day. On my way up to shoot I remember thinking about 'i'm glad i have my back up, but i don't think i'll ever need it. I hope i don't need it, it is film and i haven't shot film in a while'. Guess what happened? yup! my Digital Camera chose the middle of the shoot to DIE on me! So, I finished up the shoot with film. The mom was SO understanding. The girls were so cooperative. I'm happy to report that we got more then the D A D photos AND the images turned out terrifc!

I LOVE how the film lends a grainy old fashioned look to the b/w images.

Cutie Patootie

Babies and Kids, I love babies and kids. They are fabulous subjects. They are wholey (is that a word?) and totally themselves in front of the camera. G was great! She gave me SO much to work with and I had a great time getting to 'play' with her.

Love is in the air at a Wedding!

I try not to post too many photos, but sometimes it is really hard. It was almost painful for me to only choose this many photos to share with you here. The wedding was fun and intimate. I'm so glad I got to be a part of this day.

My Life

I do shoot in color. Believe it or not. I just prefer the timelessness of black and white. Color needs to contribute to the story that is being told.
